400 Gradi joins Kylie Kwong and Cooks for Syria.
The ongoing conflict in Syria has created the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II. On a more positive note however, it’s also seen many organisations and initiatives come together across the world to lend a hand and help Syrians in need. Initiatives such as Cook For Syria!
Since launching in London with the help of UNICEF in 2016, Cook For Syria works to raise money to help support Syrian children and increase awareness of the plight of children in the war-torn country; through a celebration of both culture and food – two things we Italians are obviously VERY passionate about!
Now a global initiative that as of 2018 reaches as far as France, Dubai, Hong Kong, the USA and Australia; this June, 400 Gradi are incredibly humbled by the opportunity to be working with the amazing Kylie Kwong on this years Cook For Syria fundraising initiative, by introducing a delicious Syrian inspired dish to our menu! Trust us, it’ll have you salivating…
Introducing, the Laham Bajine Pizza! This deliciously Syrian inspired fusion of east meets west features: Minced beef, capsicum, onion, tomato, marsala, chilli and served with lemon.
Available at all 400 Gradi locations until the end of June (Brunswick, Crown, Eastland & Essendon), 400 Gradi will be donating $5 from the sale of every Laham Bajine Pizza sold to UNICEF’s Australia’s Syrian Crisis Appeal for Children.
So how about it? Why not pick an afternoon to pop in to your nearest 400 Gradi and try something a little different? You never know, it might make a world of difference to someone you’ve never met.
